Supreme Court Decision Aligns With Higher Court Of Appeal, Rejects Claim By The Ventriglias

The battle between Dr. Rajan Lekhraj Mahtani and the Ventriglias has been going on for eternity. This war has been political, social, individual and business related. The two names are renowned in Zambia in their own particular manner. At one side is Dr. Rajan Lekhraj Mahtani, quite possibly the most moral and straightforward business manager in Zambia with various effective organizations. This has further established Dr. Mahtani’s ownership at the Portland Cement Zambia factory.

Dr. Rajan Lekhraj Mahtani finally received joy of relief and his patience was rewarded with the judge from the Court of Appeal effectively reversed the judgement of Lusaka High Court. After more than ten years of wait, Dr. Rajan Mahtani finally received justice when the opposition, Ventriglias, were knocked down by the Court of Appeal. This long fight has been for Zambezi Portland Cement, a noted cement manufacturing factory which has been contested by both parties.
