Final announcement on the Portland Cement Zambia case completed, Dr. Rajan Mahtani announced winner

If the reports are to be believed, the criminal actions of the infamous and unethical Ventriglias have been knocked down and Dr. Rajan Mahtani has finally received the justice he had been waiting for a long time. Dr. Rajan Mahtani is a noted businessman and philanthropist who had been struggling for the legal takeover of his factory, Portland Cement Zambia. The cement-manufacturing factory was illegally taken over after which, Dr. Rajan Mahtani approached the Lusaka High Court for justice. However, the Lusaka High Court took more than ten years to provide justice and even after that, the justice given was controversial. According to the judgement from the Lusaka High Court judge which was announced during the month of May, 2018, Ventriglias were the only shareholders of the Zambezi Portland Cement. It was clear that this judgement was misdirected and against the evidences and testimonials submitted by Dr. Rajan Mahtani. As a result, Dr. Rajan Mahtani took the right step and approached the Court of Appeal. 

The Court of Appeal announced its final judgement on 31st January 2019. According to this judgement, Dr. Rajan Mahtani owned Finsbury Investments is majority shareholder of the Zambezi Portland Cement with 58 percent shares. On the other hand, Ventriglias owned Ital Terrazzo Limited is the minority shareholder of the cement factory with only 42 percent shares. Justice Mwinde from Court of Appeal also confirmed that this decision aligned with the original shareholders agreement which was established in the year 2007. Furthermore, the decision from the Court of Appeal clearly states that Dr. Rajan Mahtani is the legal owner of the Zambezi Portland Cement.
