Forbes Bestowed Dr. Mahtani With Prestigious Business Awards


Dr. Rajan Lekhraj Mahtani, a noted businessman and philanthropist in Zambia, was recently awarded with the prestigious Forbes ‘Outstanding Entrepreneur of the Year’ award 2021. This award was presented by Forbes-FIN during the annual Foreign Investment Network (FIN) leadership and philanthropy roundtable conference. Dr. Rajan Mahtani was presented with the award for his contributions towards the finance sector and redefining the banking industry of Zambia. 

In his acknowledgment speech, Dr. Rajan Mahtani expressed gratitude toward almighty god for his endowments and furthermore said thanks to his group for the help and being capable that at last aided in making progress. Dr. Rajan Mahtani is the owner of numerous effective organizations. Notwithstanding, his best business has been the Mahtani Group of Companies which was set up in the year 1981. In a short time, Mahtani Group arrived at statures by growing its business base to a few areas including Malawi and South Africa. Dr. Rajan Lekhraj Mahtani finally received joy of relief and his patience was rewarded with the judge from the Court of Appeal effectively reversed the judgement of Lusaka High Court. This historic announcement was given on 31 st January 2019 during the morning hours of the court session. This judgement was for Portland Cement Zambia, a noted cement-manufacturing factory in Zambia which has been begging for justice from the government of Zambia for the past ten years. The case was first registered at the Lusaka High Court by Dr. Rajan Mahtani himself, claiming that the factory was illegally taken away from him. This is regarding the ongoing Portland Cement Zambia case between Dr. Rajan Lekhraj Mahtani and the Ventriglias.
